The curse of the younger child.

It's no fun when you're doing the best you can to be cute and noone awws you! I promise one day I'm gonna get Mommy's full attention, when no papers, books or brothers are around to distract her.

Best wishes, Milo

Shopping

We know it's weeks until Christmas n stuff, but we'd really really really really really like some more mushrooms to play with Mommy. We mean really. Please? Mommy! Pay 'ttention!

It can be so difficult to get the attention we crave, but sometimes it turns out we're being heard even when we think we're not.

Suprised kitty

We are pleased with cute kitten behaviour. It makes mommy giggle too. That means she'll pay even more attention to us. Hopefully it'll be closer to yumyum time than naptime.

Sometimes I wonder...

...what mommies are really good for. I was just helping. Apperantly it's easy to be misunderstood.

Best wishes, The Knit
And Milo quit sniggering, I'll get out of here eventually!

It's us

Mommy says we're cute and we kind of agree.

Well...

Well, I don't know what the Milo's going on about, but I don't think even Mommy can argue with the fact that I am a panther. It's too obvious. I might be a midget too, but at least I don't have to get into discussions about eating zebras and other nonsense. Hear that Milo? Sigh, baby brothers, you know...

Stupid Mommy

Ok, Mommy totally bummed my mood and stuff. She walked by me all casually and says "Hey Milobutt, wouldn't it make more sense if you turned into a tiger if you ate zebras?" Sometimes I just want to bite her. I had a zebra (well who knows what catfood is made from these days) in my mouth so I didn't get a chance to give her a smart come back either. Gosh darn it!

It's all in how you see yourself

Sometimes I hate having a rational Mommy and having to explain everything to her. Sigh. This is how it went, I was running up to her, and we talked for a bit, a giving chitchat.

- Hi Mommy, I'm a LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIION
- Hello Milobutt (I don't know WHY she insists on calling me Milobutt) You're too small to be a lion.
- But I'm a midget LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIION, rawr.
- Ok, Milo, but lions aren't black and white anyway.
- If we eat enough zebras we're black and white LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIONS. Mommy, you need to watch discovery more.

In her face! I'm the Milobu...I mean Milolion!

Wanting

Wanting stuff is a complicated thing. The outside always looks so tempting but when we get outside it's usually cold and wet. Or Mommy just wants to get the mail. Maybe the best part of going outside is coming back in where we have the litter box, the foodbowls, the waterbowl and the beddy byes toys and blankets to hide under.

Yeah, we can have many things, and want many things, but we can only be in one place at once, no matter how much we daydream about something else.

World domination

We could dominate the world if we really wanted to, luckily for you our naps keep getting in the way of those plans.

Fact of life

Life isn't all black and white. There are plenty of grey areas.

Work

Work is a place people go when they're tired of watching tv.

Judgement

Judge not the humans by how they treat each other but by how they treat their superiours when we can't care for ourselves. Us cats are a special kind, judge them by how well they recognize that. And how many toys we get.

All things good

The bringer of yumyums (and gold) is always right, at least around yumyum time.

Teeth

Mommies are strange. Sometimes they make you so mad you want to bite them and sometimes they make you so happy you want to bite them.

Morning glory

If you wake up on the wrong side and things are uncomfortable, like with a toy in your eye, you can either go back to sleep and hope it gets better next time you wake up, or you can play with the toy and then fall back asleep.
